Your Neighbour As Yourself

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! How are you doing at loving your neighbor as yourself lately? Today, as always, we are to love others as Jesus has commanded us to. Not only do our actions contribute, but so do our thoughts towards our neighbors.

Now, I know that no one can read minds, so you may be thinking, 'why does it matter what I think about someone as long as I am nice?' Well, it matters a lot! Jesus told us to first love the Lord with all our hearts and then, love our neighbor as ourselves. So how are you doing on that? In your thoughts? In your words? In your actions?

If we will consider others better than ourselves, like we're told to do in Philippians chapter two, then we will be well on our way to loving people the way Jesus commanded us to.
