Let the Children Come

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

This famous passage from Matthew nineteen shows us Jesus' heart—God loves the little children of the world. And He wants to have a personal relationship with them! Something I prayed over my own children is that they would know the Lord at the earliest possible age. And, you know,we have an opportunity in our communities and our families to share the hope found in Christ with our children. In Africa, we’ve been doing this through a program called Hope for Kids. Children are learning the key points of the Gospel,and they’re giving their hearts to Jesus. They also are learning how they can clearly share it with their friends as well!
