Light in the Darkness

(Season 60: Episode 04)

Sometimes, we can get discouraged by the darkness we see around us. Even turning on the news can cause us to lose hope. But let me share with you today second Corinthians four six (4:6), which says, “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

The world looks very similar to the way it was over two thousand years ago when Jesus first stepped foot on it. And just as He brought light to dark hearts then, He continues to do so now through transforming those who trust in Him from the inside out. He replaces our old, sinful hearts with new ones. And as new creations, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, lighting our souls with joy and peace.
