In a study Barna Research conducted, they found that 51% of churchgoers were not familiar with the term “The Great Commission”; another 25% had heard of it, but could not recall the meaning, and only 17% knew what it meant and could articulate it. What do stats like that mean?
Well, it's not good. As our culture moves further away from a Christian worldview, it will be all the more important that we as believers are able and willing to, “go and make disciples.” Jesus declares in the book of Matthew that “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Do you want to see more Christians be equipped to go out into the harvest field?
