Your Unique Talent

James one seventeen (1:17) says, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..." Did you know you have a unique talent that you can bring to the body of Christ?

It's true—we all have different God-given gifts that are important and can be used for God's Kingdom. And we should use these as faithful servants of God's grace to serve others as Peter reminds us in first Peter chapter four. We were given them for a distinct purpose of bringing glory to God and sharing His love. For example, let’s say you are a great cook, consider using those skills to prepare meals for those going through a difficult time and offer them that’s hope found only in Christ.

I knew a sand-sculptor who crafted sculptures related to the Gospel on the beach and stood around to talk to people about them. So whatever God has gifted you with—use it to serve both Him and others.
