The power of the Gospel is salvation for all who would put their trust in Jesus and Him alone. So if we want to change our country and our culture, we need to start with the Gospel. Its transforming power changes hurting, sinful hearts to joyful, peace-filled ones. Because when someone puts their trust in Jesus, He gives them the Holy Spirit who gifts them with these things.

Hope in Our Country

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! We should all want hope in our country. But you know what? We'll never have hope in our country until we have hope in our cities.

And we'll never have hope in our cities until we have hope on our streets. We'll never have hope on our streets until we have hope in our homes. And we'll never have hope in our homes until we have hope in our heart. So then, here's the question: how do we get hope in our hearts?

The source is Jesus Christ. Jesus came so that we could have new life. And it is that new life that is the fountain of hope within us. Billy Graham said it well, "For the believer, there is hope beyond the grave, because Jesus Christ has opened the door to heaven for us by His death and resurrection." Do’s and Don’ts

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! Have you ever said something and immediately thought, "why on earth did I say it that way?!" There are plenty of times when we feel like slinking away for saying the wrong thing, but there is good news! The Word of the Lord does not return void!

Now, this doesn’t mean you walk up to everyone you want to reach with the Gospel and hit them over the head with a Bible and saying the wrong thing. Concentrate on the portion of the verse that bears on the discussion at the moment, without assuming the person you’re talking to knows much about the Bible. Stress the positive benefits of the Gospel like the unspeakable joy you have because Heaven is a free gift! Trust that the Holy Spirit will do His work; you just need to be obedient.

Now that You Know

The purpose you have, to share the love of God with others, is the perfect solution to a problem so many people face. Folks all over the world are searching for the reason why they’re here. It’s not enough to exist; and as a believer, you know that we were created for more than this life has to offer! Next time you hear someone say they don’t know their purpose, or they don’t feel like they’re doing what they’re supposed to do, share with them how they CAN know.

Just Ask

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! Just Ask. It couldn't hurt. It can certainly be easy to stereotype someone or to assume they already know Jesus or have had the Gospel presented to them. I remember a few years ago when a church started equipping their members to share the Gospel, and a ninety year old man from the church came to faith in Jesus.

Age doesn't matter to the Lord, so don't keep silent about the Gospel just because you think they've already made a decision. A man named Sam set out to witness one evening and found out the young man he was talking to was a local pastor's son, but he didn't let that stop him from asking if he knew that Heaven would be his home.

He wasn't sure, and ended up making a profession of faith right there with Sam! Your family situation and religious background don't determine where you'll spend eternity. It's all about your personal faith in Jesus! For resources to help you share your faith, visit sharelifeafrica.org
