You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! Do you ever get nervous about sharing the Gospel? Well by getting prepared with a few simple tips, we can speak the Gospel with confidence!

One of today's tips is to address questions. Even though we may hear difficult questions in a spiritual conversation, we don’t need to fear them. Answer them as quickly as possible, and then return the focus to the Gospel. Nowhere’s the thing...if you don’t know the answer, be honest; let them know you will find out. And remember to always return with an answer if you promise to do so. And after either answering their questions or promising to do so, share the Gospel with them. And be ready to lead them in taking the next step of receiving the free gift of eternal life.

Instant Communication

Most of us have been given access to communicate with people all over the world in an instant, anytime we want. It’s amazing, if you think about it. What’s even more amazing is that if we know Jesus as our Savior, we have been given access to the God of the universe at absolutely anytime, from anywhere. Don’t you think that’s better than any device or social media platform?

We can truly be connected to the Father because of the access given by faith in Jesus Christ! Do you know someone who needs this access? I’m sure you do. John 3:16 (Memory Scripture)

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." You are probably very familiar with this verse! However, we couldn't leave a Scripture memory week without sharing John three sixteen.

This verse has reached so many hearts with the love of God and the sacrifice of His Son for us. "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." John three sixteen shares that if we place our trust fully and completely in Jesus, He gives us the free gift of eternal life. Wow. Even almost thirty years into my walk with God, that still fills my heart with joy and wonder. That the Creator of the universe loved us enough to send His Son to die in our place...as a father, there are no words to describe the magnitude of that gift.

2 Corinthians 5:20 (Memory Scripture)

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! What would you say has been the most formative thing you've been told as a child? Did a parent instruct you "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you..."?

Did a grandparent tell you, "If you don't work, you don't eat?" Whatever it might be, as a child of God—it works just the same. The Words our Creator God gave us in the Bible changes us and helps us live a righteous life in obedience to Him. And through our obedience to grow in Him, we experience the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As we let God's Word instruct us on how to live, we are transformedto bemore and more like Jesus.

Ephesians 5:1-2 (Memory Scripture)

You’re listening to ShareLifeAfrica! As we continue our Scripture memory challenge this week, I want to explore another reason why it's important to hide God's Word in our heart: knowing Scripture helps you help others.

We live in a world full of opinions and voices. And the truth is, our opinions can't change any one. Praise God we have the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, and HE can change lives. And God's Word also stirs the hearts of people, as the Bible tells us in Hebrews, "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
